Laura Toews - Founder
From a very early age, I was taught to leave people and places better than I found them and loved the satisfaction of a good before and after! When I found myself looking for work after being a stay at home mom while my kids were little, cleaning for others seemed like a natural fit for me.
What started as a simple way to contribute to our family’s income while still being there for my kids before and after school, has grown into something I never could’ve imagined and am so grateful for. Being someone who is uniquely people and task driven has allowed me, and thus my team, to provide services which produce both exceptional results and a phenomenal client experience. I love spending time encouraging our team to constantly push themselves to grow, to be women of extraordinary character, and to always give their best to our clients, so that our services are exceptional.
If you know me, you know I am a lover of babies and teenagers, being home, organization, flip flops, hoodies, and the beach. I also love a clean and tidy home, but I’m just like you and have been known to hide all the mess in my closets and drawers before guests show up. You’d also know how proud it makes me to lead such a strong team of women who do such valuable and meaningful work, helping our clients thrive in their homes and workplaces one clean at a time.
How we started…
After beginning to clean for family and friends in 2013, and having word spread, we heard from so many potential clients about their frustrations with other cleaning companies, namely that the quality was not great, or that dependability and integrity was a growing concern. Convinced we could do better, Team Toews Cleaning Co. (the original Team Toews was our family nickname once our fourth baby came along) was founded out of the desire to offer an exceptional alternative! We knew we could deliver both excellent cleaning services and a phenomenal client experience start to finish.
Our focus has always been people, so as a one woman crew quickly grew to become a team of them, providing a workplace where people want to be and that helps others on their way to becoming who they want to be, is equally as important and valued as the services we offer.
Today, no matter how large we grow, we remain committed to our values of teamwork, being people of extraordinary character, and providing exceptional cleaning services that feel personal and warm.
